Financial Analyst

Brooke is a Financial Analyst at Urban3, where she channels her passion for making local government budgeting and finance accessible and understandable. She is excited to dive into financial data and budgets to learn more about community priorities. She enjoys turning complex financial data into clear visuals and narratives that help communities see the impact of land use, development, and public policy decisions.

Before joining Urban3, Brooke spent over four years in the City of Largo, Florida’s Office of Performance and Budget, where she handled a wide range of financial projects and analysis. From long-range financial planning and preparing property tax rate analysis to overseeing the city’s Capital Improvements Program and Annual Operating Budget preparation, her goal was to provide data-rich analysis that would inform thoughtful decisions.

Brooke holds a master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) from Wichita State University, with certifications in City and County Management and Nonprofit Management. In her graduate research, she focused on projects related to property tax and Sales Tax and Revenue (STAR) bonds in the state of Kansas.
